Jupyterhub @ ICS and Jupyter Notebooks
Jupyterlab is the next-generation web-based user interface from Project Jupyter and Jupyterhub is the best way to service Jupyterlab for multiple users.
JupyterLab enables you to work with documents and activities such as Jupyter notebooks, text editors, terminals, and custom components in a flexible, integrated, and extensible manner. You can arrange multiple documents and activities side by side in the work area using tabs and splitters.
In addition to Jupyterlab notebooks, the ICS hub offers several web based apps including an console, R studio, Xdesktop, and VSCode.

Users may force the old behavior, an autopush to their phone or tablet ap, by setting and exporting the following variable:
DUO_PASSCODE=push
Beginning in early June, in order to accommodate Duo hardware tokens, users that are enrolled in Duo will be presented with the following menu when logging in:
Duo two-factor login for ____ Enter a passcode or select one of the following options: 1. Duo Push to XXX-XXX-4267 2. Duo Push to Android Passcode or option (1-2):

Please note that due to new MFA requirements, some users may need to change they way they connect to their files using sftp or scp.
The ICS SFTP server is sftp://sftp.ics.uci.edu. The campus VPN is required in order to access the sftp server from off campus.
