==== Openlab Linux Cluster update ====

The latest Ubuntu 22.04LTS Vendor supplied packages will be installed on the [[hardware:cluster:openlab|Openlab Linux Cluster]].

When: 12/18 and 12/19, all day.

Affected hosts:

  * All circinus hosts
  * odin.ics.uci.edu
  * tristram.ics.uci.edu
  * hermod.ics.uci.edu

==== Emp Linux Cluster update ====

The latest CentOS7 Vendor supplied packages will be installed on the Emp Linux Cluster.

When: 12/18 and 12/19, all day.

==== Openlab Hub Cluster update ====

The hub image will be rebuilt with the latest scipy-notebook and deployed on the ics https://hub.ics.uci.edu jupyterlab cluster.

All running pods will be terminated and users must start new hubs.

When:  0800-0900 12/20/2024

==== Slurm Update ====

The host running many of the slurm distribution nodes needs to be updated and rebooted during break.

When:  12/19, All day.  

==== Kerberos Domain Controller Update ====

The hosts running the Kerberos Domain Controllers will be updated and rebooted.

When:  12/19, all day.  

==== Gitlab Security Update ====

Gitlab servers will be down in order to upgrade to a more recent release. This will include the main ICS gitlab server and ones set up for individual classes.
