2020 Winter Maintenance Notifications

• Reason: The latest security and kernel updates will be installed on each host. After installation, hosts will be turned off for about one hour to rewire power and networking for the hosts.
• Affects: All services on each host including SSHD, Slurm, and SGE.

• Reason: The system has suffered some catastrophic failures requires a complete rebuild.

• Partial outage on openlab cluster 2/6/2020 from 0820-1030 due to failed PDU

The kubernetes cluster running hub.ics.uci.edu will be reinstalled during Spring break. We anticipate 1-3 days of downtime.
